My Approach: Crafting Digital Excellence
the task was to redesign a screen for the CRED App. The app, known for its slick design and iconic ads (yes, even Rahul Dravid approves!), now allows users to track eligible offers for their credit cards. My mission? Improve this screen to make it easier for users to discover and identify relevant offers.
Identifying Unique Challenges
The challenge was particularly tricky for me—I’ve never used CRED or its services, though I’ve always admired their design aesthetic. Without firsthand experience, I relied on references for inspiration, but even that didn’t provide much clarity.
Resolving Complex Problems
In the end, I put together a design by iterating on elements of the current interface. It wasn’t my most confident submission, but I focused on addressing the usability issues as best as I could.
User-Centric Design
I aimed to streamline the user experience by ensuring that the redesigned screen made it intuitive to navigate through offers and quickly identify relevant ones across multiple credit cards.
Meeting User Needs
Although my approach wasn’t perfect, it was an attempt to balance functionality and aesthetics. The submitted design reflected a combination of existing design principles with a fresh perspective to support user needs.
