My Approach: Crafting Digital Excellence
The task was to redesign Blinkit’s order summary page, which was similar to Zomato’s, in order to reduce clutter and better cater to quick commerce users. The primary goal was to make the page more relevant, intuitive, and visually appealing.
Focused on improving typography and reducing visual clutter.
Simplified elements to make the design more soothing and user-friendly.
Iterated on multiple versions based on feedback from peers and mentors.
Identifying Unique Challenges
The challenges included:
Cluttered Layout: The original design resembled Zomato’s order summary, which was too dense and confusing for quick commerce users.
User-Centricity: Ensuring that the new design effectively catered to the needs of users who prioritize speed and ease of use.
Balancing Simplicity and Functionality: Keeping the design clean while maintaining all necessary information for users.
Resolving Complex Problems
To tackle these challenges:
Focused on simplifying the page by reducing unnecessary elements and making key information more prominent.
Worked on enhancing typography to improve readability and visual flow.
Iterated on design versions and incorporated feedback to ensure clarity and usability.
User-Centric Design
